I am addicted to chocolate, I have to have at least one piece of chocolate a day. It's really ridiculous when I think about it. I made this piece completely in photoshop by cutting out different pictures using the quick selection tool and my Wacom tablet. I thought about an episode of Spongebob Squarepants where Spongebob and Patrick try to become entrepreneurs by selling chocolate. They knocked on this fish's door and he goes crazy when he finds out they are selling chocolate bars. He kind of represents how I feel about chocolate in a melodramatic way.

Chocolate!

Numbers, Letters, and Shapes

For my design I incorporated pictures of places and people that are of significance to me. They are, in clockwise order start from the top left: Alaska, Milford and my favorite Jeep Wrangler, and the beach with my best friend dressed as pirates. I like groupings of 3, and the letter "A" is one of the letters in my name.

Where I'm From...

The people in this piece have either visted or lived in Milford...but the case of Abe, is quite different. In a building called "The Columns", a flag is displayed with the bloodstain of Abe's gunshot wound. The building is pictured on the bottom left-hand corner.
The men in this piece, from left to right: JFK, Frank McCourt, Zane Grey, Abe Lincoln

Week One Assignment
I chose these images because they sparked a sense of emotion when I looked at them. I could relate to the storm with a lightening bolt because I love severe weather. The picture with the girl jumping caught my eye with the girl framed by the hallway and door frame. I overlapped the images in photoshop then using bridge open it in illustration and applied text to the image.
